“It is God’s Will” Says Pastor Whose Wife and 4 Children Were Burnt To Death

So sad indeed. Pst. Kayode John of Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C) Otumara, in Warri, Delta State wouldn’t have ever believed he’d lose his beloved wife plus all his kids on the same night. His wife Grace and children, Oghenemaro, Oghenetejiri (7), Efemena (10) and Egburoghene (13) were consumed to death in a raging fire incident that occurred on the 25th of September, 2014.


The corpses of the kids have been buried at a cemetery while the remains of his wife awaits a befitting burial. The pastor was in Ondo State for a conference when the event occurred around 1.15am.

During his sermon just four days after the ugly incident (Sun, 28th September), Pst. John Kayode admonished his congregation not to be dissuaded by the occurrence. He made it clear that he was consoled because he knows his wife and children and now with the Lord.
